THE OPPORTUNITY
Allquip Water Trucks is offering a casual fabricator/vehicle body building position to the right candidate to join our Rutherford-based team in NSW 2hrs from Sydney and 30 minutes from Newcastle. This role will see the successful candidate performing fabrication work on new truck tanks including MIG welding of mild steel & aluminium.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication work including MIG welding mild steel & aluminium.
- General vehicle fit-out assembly work.
Requirements
- Proven experience as 1st or 2nd Class Welder/Fabricator/Truck Body/Trailer Builder
- Experience using a variety of welding procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Deftness and attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Team player attitude
The position is casual with the possibility of full-time and is available for immediate start.
