PCSA was established in 1985 and supports individuals, families and community members as well as health professionals working with South Australians experiencing serious illness. We have recently received funding to implement and run the Ambulance Wish program to provide wishes for people in their last chapter of life and create memories which last forever.

About the Role
We are looking for an Ambulance Wish Coordinator to join our organisation on a part time basis for 15.2 hours per week. The preference is for the role to be worked for two full days across a combination of either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
The Ambulance Wish Coordinator will be involved in delivering the following:
- Fulfilling the Ambulance Wish program through coordinating wish teams
- Coordinating the wish planning, combining wish assessment into a wish plan
- Coordinating volunteers, staff, agencies and stakeholders from various programs
- Participating in wish delivery, when required
- Maintaining task and activity register, statistics and resources for the project
- Implementing and tracking the project plan and managing all project documentation and reports
- Producing project reports including analysis and recommendations to the Steering Committee
- Delivering training and information sessions
- Actively contributing to continuous improvement and good governance.
Skills and Experience Required
- Recent nursing (enrolled or registered); allied health; paramedic experience or frontline health experience in an acute health setting
- Great interpersonal skills, confident and calm communicator
- Project coordination and stakeholder management experience
- Experience using range of IT systems
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to follow a lot of moving parts
- Ability to multitask and manage and monitor progress and key requirements
- Innovative thinker with great interpersonal skills
- Role subject to vaccination requirements, driver’s license and National Police Check.
