About the Role
We are seeking a friendly & professional amenity cleaner to join our Residential Community. This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all appliances are clean and in working order
- Ensure all common areas are kept in a clean and tidy state
- Any other duties as assigned by management
- Check for and remove any rubbish; empty bins if required
- Attend to emergencies and escalate to management if required
- Sweep, bleach, scrub and mop the floors of common areas
- Wipe and clean all benches and tables
- Empty bins and clean bins as necessary
- Restock hand towels, tea towels, scorers and washing liquid
- \Clean all toilets and toilet facilities, including restocking amenities, cleanings mirrors and floors
- Clean shower cubicles in amenities facilities daily
- Review amenities store room and advise office employees of any required chemicals and supplies that need to be ordered
About You
- Practical experience / work history in a cleaning role
- Well organised and a strong eye for detail
- Current “C” class drivers licence (site dependent)
- Willingness to obtain First Aid certificate
- Willingness to obtain National Working with Children check
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate with all departments
- Ability to make decisions and able to work with minimal supervision
- Confident and able to raise any concerns to management or another department
- Positive and enthusiastic
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting of rubbish bins, cleaning supplies and equipment
- Use of site buggy
- Use of broom, mop, vacuum cleaner and other cleaning equipment
- Repetitive use of muscular force, bending, twisting and stretching when carry out cleaning tasks
- Frequent walking around the site
- Use of cleaning products and chemicals
- Use of PPE such as rubber gloves and facemasks
