About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Anaesthesia Medical Practitioners - Service Registrar within the The Department of Surgical Specialties & Anaesthesia.
- Provide anaesthesia and pain management services with consultant supervision as appropriate to the trainee’s level of experience.
- Participate in educational and quality improvement activities as directed and required by the Head of Unit of Anaesthesia and the Supervisor of Training or their delegates.
- Demonstrate satisfactory progress in acquiring advanced knowledge and skills in anaesthesia.
To be eligible for this position, you must:
Educational/Vocational Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine: Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration
As per the SA Health Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12 month allocation as Medical Practitioner will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.
The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
