Anaesthetic Provisional Fellow (Senior Registrar)

The Department of Anaesthesia, Perioperative Medicine and Pain Management at Canberra Hospital provides a comprehensive range of clinical anaesthesia services for most surgical specialties including cardiothoracic-, neuro-, upper GI, bariatric, orthopaedic, head and neck/oral- maxillofacial and paediatric surgery along with a high-risk preadmission clinic, and an acute and chronic pain management service. Trainees also have opportunities to work in affiliated private hospitals with public-in-private patients. The Provisional Fellowship positions available are:
Provisional fellow in Perioperative anaesthesia
Provisional fellow in Obstetric anaesthesia
Provisional fellow in Anaesthesia and hepatobiliary and Upper GIT surgery
Anaesthetic Provisional Fellow – General Non-clinical time is highly valued and can be tailored to the interests of each Provisional Fellow. ANZCA trainees must be eligible for the Provisional Fellowship year at the commencement of the contract. Positions are available to commence in August 2024.
