• Up to $96,626.00 per annum + shift penalties + 11% superannuation

The HospitalYou will be working for a hospital with 14 operating theatres, one procedure room and a hybrid/Angio suites. The hospital is a major provider of elective and emergency surgical services for Southern Tasmania. They have a 24hr emergency theatre and an on-call nursing team to supplement a second emergency theatre after-hours.

The Location

You will be living in Hobart, the capital city of Tasmania. Tasmania is known for its stunning landscapes, which include rugged mountains, pristine beaches, dense forests, and beautiful lakes. About 45% of the island is protected as national parks and reserves, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. Hobart is home to various cultural attractions, including museums, art galleries, and historic sites. The Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) is a world-renowned art museum that attracts visitors from around the globe. Hobart hosts several annual events and festivals, attracting both locals and tourists. The Taste of Tasmania is a popular food and beverage festival held during the New Year celebrations, showcasing local produce and culinary delights. The Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race is another major event that draws sailing enthusiasts and spectators to the city.

To be eligible for this position, you must have the following:

• Current registration with AHPRA, no restrictions
• At least 6 months of recent anaesthetic nursing experience
• Applicants with valid, unrestricted Australian Working Visas are welcome to apply
