This position requires enrolment in the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists Chapter of Perioperative Medicine Course, with six-month (x2) spent in the perioperative medicine program with targeted clinical exposure and education in perioperative medicine at each of Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and St. Vincent’s hospital.
During the six months spent at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre the fellow will also provide for the day-to-day clinical management of perioperative patients, including preoperative workup, anaesthesia, postoperative care, and pain management under the care and direction of the Directorate of the Director of Anaesthesia, Perioperative and Pain Medicine.
