We have a new opportunity in Client Management and Execution (CME)! We are looking for a passionate, driven individual who can help deliver excellence in portfolio administration. 

CME is the Centre of Credit and Execution Excellence within Corporate Finance and the broader C&IB business at NAB. We partner with our Colleagues in C&IB Coverage and Product teams to deliver products and solutions for our C&IB Customers. This includes managing customer portfolios, driving business growth and efficiently delivering an excellent experience for our clients. CME has highly professional Portfolio and Execution specialists across Australia, UK, USA and Asia covering the broad spectrum of Corporate and Institutional businesses delivering a wide range of financial solutions for our customers.   

We currently have an opportunity for an Analyst / Associate to join our high performing Client Management & Execution (CME) Enablement team supporting the Corporate VIC portfolio. The team supports a client base of Australia’s top clients.

The role: 

Reporting to the Lead, CME Enablement, this role will support the CME Corporate VIC portfolio.  Responsibilities will include portfolio administration, reporting, portfolio hygiene and a variety of other administrative tasks that will help drive superior client outcomes.  As a team member within CME Enablement, you will be a highly organised individual who thrives on problem solving, getting things done, attention to detail and ensuring that outcomes and deliverables are reached for both our Customers and Colleagues alike.  

The following is a general summary of responsibilities: 

  • Owning and driving the management of portfolio hygiene including management of aged ratings, unrated entities, expired limits, short term extensions, management of suspense accounts
  • Providing reporting as needed and assisting with the smooth running and management of the portfolio
  • Supporting the portfolio with the setup and ongoing management of covenants
  • Supporting the portfolio with the management of manual fees
  • Setting up and amending eBL and eALOC submissions
  • Supporting the team with PPSR & company searches, establishment of clients, facilities and securities in front end banking systems, and submitting discharge requests when required (including work associated with settlements)
  • Assisting with high risk offboarding requests
  • Assisting with and actioning requests sent to our operations teams
  • Ensuring the management of documents adheres to policy and retention requirements, including the document repository in Aurora and archival of original documents

What you will bring: 

  • You will have exceptional inter-personal and communication skills, and a willingness to contribute to a team environment 
  • A natural curiosity for process improvements to systems and procedures 
  • Prior experience in banking as well as within an operational or servicing related role will be highly regarded 
  • You will be proficient with the Microsoft suite (and in particular are comfortable using excel to analyse or review data) 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, Engineering (or a related discipline) will be highly regarded
