Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Analyst for their Investment Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, overseeing the sourcing, analysis, underwriting and structuring of credit proposals, specialising in property investment, development and construction. The successful candidate will have the chance to work collaboratively with a committed team, performing due diligence, loan management and key stakeholder relationship management.As an Analyst in the Investment Team, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the sourcing, analysis, underwriting and structuring of credit proposals, with a particular focus on property lending. You will work closely with dedicated Investment Team members to perform due diligence on potential investments and manage existing loans. Your strong communication skills will enable you to build meaningful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. - Support Senior Investment Managers in undertaking relevant due diligence, project feasibility and financial analysis for potential credit proposals
- Assist Investment Team to identify, underwrite, negotiate, structure and prepare indicative term sheet for new loan opportunities
- Work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders, covering end-to-end credit application process to close the deal
- Collaborate with Credit Team in preparing detailed and succinct credit proposals and presenting to Credit Committee
- Manage ongoing loans for existing loan portfolio including analysis of monthly QS progress reports, liaising with stakeholders and provision of progress payments
- Manage relationships with external key stakeholders and borrower, including third party referral partners/brokers, external legal consultants and potential borrowers
- Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in commerce, business, property or other related field
- Minimum 3 years working experience in related field, candidates with banking / non-bank, finance and/or property experience will be preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with superior attention to detail
- Strong financial analysis and interpretation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to articulate and present critical arguments
- Strong stakeholder management skills, commitment to collaboration and teamwork is essential
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications suite
- High integrity, fit and proper track record, ability to work well in a team environment
