The Risk & Compliance Consumer Distribution team manages 1st Line of Defence (1LOD) across the Consumer Distribution Function. This includes managing the Quality Assurance program and providing end-to-end Everyday Banking tribe lead delivery & delivered risk management and support.
In this role you will execute on the Call Monitoring Program by listening to calls and completing the Call Monitoring Checklist and assisting with maintenance and improvements of the Program.
What you'll do
- Understand the broader risk requirements (compliance, policy, legislative, regulatory, audit & reporting agenda and likely impacts) then support the agenda, frameworks and participation in the requirements for the QA program channels supported.
- Deliver and support monitoring & supervision and quality assurance solutions that meet the business requirements and are aligned with strategy and standards
- Suggest alternate solutions to a given issue / business need, providing balanced and practical advice.
- Ensure appropriate processes and procedures are in place to drive two-way communication and outputs from support teams such as analytics, reporting, risk and compliance, incident management, and frameworks and governance.
- Support real sustainable change in the way we do business to minimise risk, drive compliant outcomes and an exceptional and consistent customer experience.
- Assist in the early identification and escalation of incidents/breaches through education.
- Regular report writing, insights and communication to key stakeholders to shape a managed risk environment and drive informed decision making.
- Participate in continuous improvement of quality assurance programs.
- Schedule and manage time that balances work delivery, career development and resource utilisation.
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Risk, Law or related Field (Desired)
- Relevant RG146 education requirements (e.g. banking & insurance) - Desired
- Relevant RG206 education requirements - Desired
- Minimum two (2) years of appropriate industry experience in banking and/or risk & compliance management and advice
- Knowledge of finance (e.g. front line banking and support functions).
