Senior Android Developer

• 3 Month Contract Opportunity
• Open to candidates based in Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane.
• City office for those who wish to go in - great location, uber modern!
• Day rate of between $800 - $900 per day

ScaleUp is partnering with a global enterprise company that provides professional software delivery services to several top-tier end users.
Their end-to-end mobile app and web development teams take a user-centred design approach to achieve effective customer experiences by being at the forefront of app architecture in high-traffic big-data systems.
Due to increased work across existing clients and greenfield projects, they are looking to bring on board a SeniorAndroid Developer to help cover some project work over the next 3 months

What are they after?

• Extensive experience in Android mobile development using Kotlin with a strong understanding of Android architecture, frameworks, previous working knowledge of Android languages Java, RxJava etx.
• Knowledge of how to build mobile applications from the ground up as well as working on and understanding existing codebases
• Previous extensive experience working in Agile delivery manner
• Interest in being a part of the leading consulting culture.
• Great communication skills are imperative given the nature of the work and being remote.

What you will be doing (apart from building quality mobile apps!)

• Building and designing advanced Android applications for the Android platform and ensuring projects are tracking to budget and of a high standard of quality
• Help mentor other members of the Android team
• Constructively participate in architecture planning, code reviews and team processes while working in an agile environment.
• Driving cross-functional team collaboration with Product, QA, Solution and UX/Design teams to design, define and ship new features

It's a 3-month contract that is a full-time role and is open to people based in Australia (ideally NSW) with full working rights in Australia. Open to remote workers in NSW/Victoria/QLD. It's paying a day rate of between $800 - $900 per day exc. gst.
