Job Description:THE ROLEAs the
Electrical Superintendent, you will be pivotal in managing and supporting our Power Projects team for our high-voltage electrical projects in NSW/ACT. Your expertise will be instrumental in project management, field resource allocation, quality management, constructability review, and regular productivity reporting.This role will require FIFO/DIDO on a 10:4 roster with LAHA/site uplift. This hands-on role will provide leadership and support to our technicians in the field and involve training, auditing, and escalations to achieve zero harm, safe systems of work, and quality and performance objectives. The role will be based predominantly in regional NSW and require travel to the ACT; a tool of the trade vehicle will form part of the offer.
Some of the key responsibilities include:- Manage the allocation of field resources and provide regular productivity reports.
- Ensure the safety of employees and contractors is under our control by conducting an ongoing review of SWMS and providing updates as necessary.
- Manage construction process in line with agreed project/program parameters.
- Support business development initiatives by actively participating in tender delivery.
- Take ownership of recruitment and HR-related matters that arise within the team, including mentoring field staff and fostering a positive culture.
ABOUT YOU- A strong track record of HV-related experience complimented with an electrical trade qualification.
- Project Management Diploma (advantageous but not essential).
- Extensive experience working on large, complex infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and ensure a commitment to Zero Harm.
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage with key stakeholders up and downstream.
