This European-headquartered industrial group has a strong presence in the Australian and New Zealand market, and they are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join their established tax function.
About the Role
Working closely with the regional Head of Tax, you will have oversight of all tax compliance and reporting across the ANZ region, as well as involvement in tax projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing both Direct and Indirect Tax compliance for the region, supported by both a local and offshore tax team;
- Research changing tax legislation and provide advice, both locally and globally, where needed;
- Overall oversight of tax effect accounting locally;
- Responsibility for regional Transfer Pricing documentation; and
- Liaison with local tax authorities, such as the ATO.
- CA or CPA qualified, ideally with tax experience in a commercial (in-house) setting;
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulation in Australia and New Zealand;
- Experience covering tax compliance for Income Tax, GST, FBT, and payroll taxes; and
- Good understanding of tax technology / ERP systems.
