Competency Requirements
As the newly appointed Business Services and Tax manager, you will be responsible for the overall financial solutions to our trusted clients.
Main responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate day-to-day operations and service delivery to our clients
- Manage a team of resources and workflow, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Establish and update processes and procedures
- Quality assurance and review of staff deliverables
- Manage new client onboarding and maintain client relationships.
- Statutory compliance lodgements including ATO & State tax matters
- Provide expertise in technical accounting and taxation
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a determined accounting professional with proven success in management and leadership. You will be CA or CPA-qualified, with strong knowledge of Australian taxation law, General Accounting Principles and Reporting. You will have strong commercial acumen as well as excellent organisational skills.
- Full CA/CPA qualification
- Australian permanent residency and be onshore
- Over 8 years of BUSINESS SERVICES experience
- Experience in managing a team of staff including SENIOR ACCOUNTANTs
- Strong communicator – verbal and written
- Client-facing experience
- Proficient in Xero, Quickbooks and BGL
