A temporary role has become available within a Government Department for an experienced Events Administration Officer, working approximately 2-3 days/week in Ipswich.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Event co-ordination and administration including venue bookings and quotes
- Venue tours
- Sourcing quotes (catering and equipment)
- Creating and maintaining budgets
- Maintaining spreadsheets
- Associated administrative tasks as required
To be considered for this opportunity, you should demonstrate:
- Previous events co-ordination and administration experience is essential
- Intermediate+ skills in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook)
- Confident communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven ability to multi-task and organise your workload to meet competing deadlines
- A strong customer service focus with the ability to build rapport quickly with a variety of stakeholders
The duration of this temporary assignment is anticipated to be 4 weeks initially and the casual hourly pay rate is $46.27 (plus superannuation).
