Form of workThe QLD government client is currently seeking multiple experienced External Auditors commencing mid-April.
Your new company
This is an opportunity for experienced auditors to join a Queensland Government department on a contract through until the end of August 2024 to assist in completing and supporting a range of audits.
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Auditor, your responsibilities will surround field work for financial audits.
Duties will include:
- Developing audit plans for large and small audits
- Undertaking interim and final testing for audits
- Managing financial audits and delivering within assigned budget time-frames
- Reviewing and providing quality assurance on working documents for other team members
- Liaising with clients regarding risks and findings.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, you will demonstrate previous experience working within an external audit position within a Top Tier, Commercial, or Public Sector business. You will possess excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in external audit is essential. A Professional Accounting qualification is also required.
Some travel may be required as part of this role.
