Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Facilitator / Educator to join our team. As a Facilitator at Hills and Ranges Private, you will play a crucial role in our clients' journey to recovery and will be responsible for delivering our proven 5i Curriculum. This encompasses both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed psychology.
Your role will involve guiding and empowering our clients as they explore the root causes of their challenges and develop essential skills for sustainable recovery.
Our exclusive program is delivered with the assistance of videos, whiteboard sessions, presentations, and written exercises and assignments that are found in our extensive textbook.
Training and coaching will be provided by Hills and Ranges Private.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate group and individual sessions based on the 5i Curriculum, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed therapy.
- Develop personalised treatment plans for each client, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
- Foster a supportive and empathetic environment that encourages client engagement and progress.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Liaise with the clinical team, and overseeing the management of clinical notes.
- Provide clients with the tools and knowledge to understand their conditions and promote long-term recovery.
- Monitor and assess client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, helping to guide and inspire the HARP team.
Experience and Skills:
- Relevant certificate in AOD, mental health or related field.
- Counselling and training / coaching experience.
- Previous experience in addiction treatment and mental health support.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic and patient-centred approach to facilitating curriculum sessions.
- Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of client care.
