Form of workThe role is responsible for the installation, administration, monitoring, maintenance and security of databases, as well as contributing to improvements in database standards, procedures and best practices with the ITIL Framework to ensure Connective Broker Services Database Systems operate and perform at optimal levels.
Responsibility's
- Monitor and optimise the performance of Application Databases to meet performance and service level agreements
- Maintain the database installations and configurations in all development, QA and production environments
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in relational and NoSQL database technologies. Constant enhancement of technical skills through training
- Participate in the development of corporate databases to meet the requirements of new initiatives
Requirements
- 5 + Years' experience as a Senior Database Administrator using Microsoft
- Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Modelling experience in complex applications and integration environments
- Expert in SQL debugging skills
- Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, BI Platform
