Access theThe role:
The Application Officer will continually update and maintain knowledge of specific applications and business technical requirements in the support of enterprise applications.In addition to this, you will be responsible for:
- Maintain enterprise applications in accordance with Queensland Health policies, standards and practices.
- Work autonomously to provide end to end support of enterprise applications to ensure defined service levels are met.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and test the impacts of changes to any of the components supporting enterprise applications to maintain defined service levels.
- Assist in the development and review of Business and Operational Plans that link with Departmental and branch outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Demonstrated ability in developing and managing ITIL Service Management processes, primarily incident/problem/test/change and configuration management. (SFIA: USUP Level 3, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 3, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 2)
- Experience in managing the day to day system administration of enterprise applications. (SFIA: ASUP Level 4)
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
- Demonstrated ability in meeting customer needs and expectations
- Understanding or proven ability to quickly learn impacts of other technologies or environments such as databases, servers and networking.
- Experience with service management of Identity and Access for a large organisation is desirable.
