Form of work THE POSITION
Due to growth, we have an exciting new role for supporting the Information Security Manager in supporting the Application Security function at Wilson Group. This primarily consists of performing day-to-day activities supporting Wilson staff with any Application security-related issues they may have, as well as maintaining the health and improving the performance of our cyber security detection and prevention technology and processes.
As part of the Information Security team, your role is to also assist the Information Security Manager in promoting a strong cyber culture; managing cyber risk, and improving the overall cyber resilience of Wilson Group.

Responsibilities:
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining secure software development controls
• Providing technical guidance, and direction to the application teams
• Developing and maintaining documentation of Application Security controls
• Implementing software Application Security controls for digital and security solutions
• Designing technical solutions to address security weaknesses
• Analysing system services, identifying issues in code, networks and applications
• Threat modelling and analysis
• Database and cloud encryption
Our ideal applicant will have:
• Tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science and/or related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevSecOps, Application Security, Cloud Integrations or DevOps related roles
• Knowledge and experience in OWASP Top 10, Securing cloud environments (Azure & AWS), Web Application Security, Mobile Application Security
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Active certifications and credentials in information systems or cyber security operations and management
