We are proud of the warm spirit and sense of community that characterises our school family.Our School campus is located in the leafy inner East suburb of Canterbury, on land originally inhabited by the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, and blends period architecture with exciting contemporary design and state-of-the-art facilities.ABOUT THE ROLEAn exciting opportunity now exists for an Applications and Integrations Administrator to join our dynamic ICT Department. This newly created position will be responsible for helping the Camberwell Grammar School community innovate and excel in teaching and learning with technology.Reporting directly to the Lead Developer, you will work collaboratively with the wider ICT team to support the School by assisting in the technical management of applications, databases and products as well as the integration between them.You will play a key role in delivering quality and timely support to staff, students and parents across our core systems.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with the Lead Developer to develop, support, maintain and enhance the business systems involved in the student life cycle
  • Support start of year/term processes and end of period (year/term) roll over processes
  • Operate and support the day-to-day running, backup, upgrades, and Integrations of the school business systems
  • Provide end user support, training and maintain documentation/knowledge base
  • Coordinate requirements gathering from a variety of stakeholders to support technology roadmap initiatives and enhancements
  • Work with stakeholders and vendors to ensure changes (upgrades & technology migration) are effectively documented, tested & communicated to users
  • Identity and resolve incidents relating to key applications
  • Analyse incident trends to identify problems and root causes
  • Plan and implement permanent fix solutions or workarounds for identified problems
  • Implement software maintenance, including patches and system upgrades and provide ongoing development in key applications
  • Provide advice on the capabilities of systems to meet business needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders of applications, communicating relevant information to them on a regular basis
  • Design, document, and implement dashboards and reports
  • Support identity and Single Sign-on
  • Develop workflow and forms-based apps for a range of business process improvements
  • Liaise with various software vendors and their help desk personnel to troubleshoot applications used throughout the school
