We are currently looking for an Apprentice Advisor, reporting to the Audit and Compliance Manager, Targeted Services, to join Apprenticeship Support Australia based in our Gosford & Central Coast NSW office.
We are looking for a people-focused, friendly, motivated and confident individual who will be a valued advisor and will love to support and encourage Apprentices to complete their apprenticeship.
Main responsibilities include:
- Working with new apprentices and trainees to help them overcome the challenges associated with transitioning to the workplace, and balancing work and studies.
- Helping apprentices and trainees who may be under pressures in their personal life, experiencing workplace challenges or struggling to build relationships with their employers and co-workers.
- Supporting resolving conflict and other workplace related issues which may be impacting performance and productivity.
- Providing referral services to mental health providers, language literacy and numeracy tools, counselling services or other specialist services.
- Advising employers on strategies to ensure their apprentice receives the best practice induction when they start, and tactics for coaching and mentoring them to success.
- Accurate and time sensitive data collection and quality data management.

To be Successful in this role, you will:
- Proven experience in customer service, sales, business development and/or account management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to set goals, organise own workload, prioritise, meet deadlines, and see tasks through to conclusion.
- Excellent computer literacy and keyboard skills.
