About the role
We are currently looking for anApprentice Advisor, reporting to the Audit and Compliance Manager, Targeted Services, to join Apprenticeship Support Australia.
This position can be based anywhere out of one of our NSW offices.
Please note this position is a term contract position ending the 30th of June 2024.
We are looking for a people-focused, friendly, motivated and confident individual who will be a valued advisor and will love to support and encourage Apprentices to complete their apprenticeship.

Main responsibilities include:
- Management of a defined caseload of Australian Apprentices and will be responsible for meeting regularly to achieve retention objectives.
- Maintain the caseload within the designated territory at levels as agreed with the Manager.
- Liaison with Apprentices, Employers, and Parents as defined in the mentoring plan.
- Conduct ‘prospecting’ calls to targeted ‘At-Risk’ Australian Apprentices to enter into In-Training Support to achieve individual and team targets.
- Negotiate positive outcomes where differences arise between employers and Australian Apprentices.
- Liaise with specialised organisations to ensure complex issues and/or needs are appropriately addressed.
- Assess, counsel, coach and mentor young apprentices where required.
- Be adaptable with working hours to accommodate service needs.
