Form of workSeair Pacific is one of Queensland's leading charter air services and the sole provider of the flight service to the iconic and industry leading Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort. Seair owns, operates and maintains its own fleet of C208 & DHC-6 turboprop aircraft.
We are seeking a well organised and dynamic team player to join our Aircraft Maintenance Engineer team based in our Hangar/Head Office in the general aviation area at Gold Coast Airport.
Seair is currently seeking to employ an apprentice who is looking to start or may have already begun their apprenticeship. The role will encompass a 4 day work week and be required to start work at 7:30am.
Our apprentices work alongside our experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) and Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAMEs) to conduct line and base maintenance on the fleet of aircraft.
Duties of the role:
- Aircraft servicing and maintenance alongside our qualified team
- Ground support equipment maintenance and servicing
- Disassembly, inspection, diagnosing and repair of aircraft defects
- Hangar maintenance
Requirements for the role:
- Excellent aptitude and hands on skills
- Ability to listen and follow instructions
- Pass a pre-medical drug test
- Ability to obtain an ASIC
- Completed or looking to complete a Certificate IV in Aeroskills
