Due to ever expanding growth, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Cabinet Maker/Joiner.
This is a unique opportunity to learn the art and skill of the industry with the guidance of experienced professionals.
About the role
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the construction and assembly of custom cabinets and joinery projects at the factory and onsite
- Learn and apply techniques, including measuring, cutting, shaping and finishing
- Collaborate with fellow staff and tradesmen to understand the design specifications and project requirements
- Maintain a clean and organised/safe workspace
- You will help us to continue to deliver our exceptional quality products
- We are open to offering flexible School based apprenticeships if the applicant is wishing to complete their school year
- Operate machinery and hand tools with precision and safety
Skills & Experience:
- You will have commenced your Apprenticeship or have a desire to commence your Apprenticeship.
- You will have excellent people skills and the ability to work with others as part of a team
- Sound problem solving skills
- Be organised and reliable
- Display an eye for detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good physical fitness and manual dexterity
- A manual Driver’s License (or the ability to obtain)
