Apprentice Chef (1st Year)
The National Wine Centre of Australia (NWC) is one of Adelaide’s leading hospitality venues situated in the vibrant East End of the CBD, in close proximity to the emerging Lot Fourteen precinct.
Our unique architectural building is surrounded by the green space of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and parklands and plays host to over 800 events per year attracting international, national and local visitors. Events include conferences, weddings, banquets, meetings and seminars.

The NWC has an opportunity for a 1st Year Apprentice Chef. As an Apprentice you will participate in intensive on-the-job training with qualified chefs. You will also be supported with a structured program of nationally accredited training.
The ideal candidate will have a very strong work ethic, willingness to learn and be able to communicate well with both internal and external customers. It is an expectation that work is carried out in a safe manner in accordance with the WHS requirements of the NWC.
This is a full-time position encompassing a 7 day roster. Remuneration is as per the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2010.
