Radium Control Solutions are a specialist industrial automation and control solution provider. We solve complex problems and have a high level of skill with servo's and motion control. We deal with major industrial automation brands including Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Pilz, Schneider, SEW and SICK.
We have a diverse range of customers in varying industries in Sydney including building materials, food and beverage, heavy industry, mining, and fast moving consumer goods (FMCG).
We're growing our team and capability and looking to grow the next generation of industrial electricians.
The Role
This is an entry level apprenticeship role. We're looking to develop the skills and capability of the successful applicant into an industrial electrician. No previous experience is necessary, but having an understanding of general industry and previously working a job would be an advantage.

Our business is built on sharing knowledge and providing experience to all of our staff to develop their skills. Our apprentices are exposed to a variety of installations, technologies and techniques - but we do not do domestic work or solar.
You will be doing more than just pulling in cable, putting in tray and terminating outlets. This is a challenging role and you'll get the chance to build control panels (inc. VSD's, DOL's, PLC's, Touch Screens etc.), install instruments, install communications networks, work with valves (pneumatic and hydraulic), terminate motors, fault find industrial machines and control systems. You will have exposure to PLC programming and be taught to write software consistent with your ability and progress in your apprenticeship.

Skills/Experience
To be successful in gaining a role with us, you need:
- You must live within 45minute driving radius of Padstow. Applications will not be reviewed if you do not live in this area or provide your suburb in your application
- A mature attitude and approach to work. You need to be able to explain why you want to be an industrial sparky - and a cover letter is essential.
- A current Australian Drivers License and your own car.
- A previous job is desirable - McDonalds, Woolies etc. - anything that shows you've had previous experience in a workplace will be highly regarded
- A strong understanding of maths. Trades Electrical requires good maths skills and industrial challenges those further
