Apprentice Greenkeeper (Sports Turf Management)

Gold Creek Country Club is a privately owned 18 hole golf course. The golf course has been rated in the top 100 public access courses in Australia.

A vacancy currently exists for an Apprentice Greenkeeper. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable person with strong work ethic to join the maintenance team. If you have a passion for outdoor work, then this is a fantastic opportunity to secure a career with a leading golf club.

A person who has a background in horticulture or landscaping would be desired. A golfing background or knowledge would also be desirable. 

What you will need:

• Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including rostered weekend work.
• To be reliable, highly motivated with a good work ethic.
• An understanding of golf is advantageous but not essential.
• Be able to work unsupervised and in a small team.
• Good communication skills.

The position is full time and includes rostered weekend overtime. A current driver’s license is required and attendance of CIT for 3 years.
