The Role
An opportunity exists for a talented and motivated individual to be a part of our Trainee, Apprentice and Graduate Program! An apprenticeship with CBCity is a perfect opportunity for a recent school leaver to gain valuable on-the-job experience whilst obtaining a formal qualification and a fortnightly wage.
This opportunity is offered on a Temporary Full Time basis, for 4 Years. Core Days/Hours of work are Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure parks, Sportsfields, golf course and ovals are maintained and renovated in accordance with service agreements.
- Inspect sportsfields and parks following periods of excessive rainfall, and provide recommendations as to whether they should be closed or opened.
- Provide feedback to sports clubs and park users and resolve minor maintenance issues.
- Identify, report and where possible rectify sportsfield deficiencies.
- Operate ride on mowers, rollers or other related plant as required.
- Operate minor plant items/hand tools as required.
- Attendance and successful completion of off the job trade related practices (TAFE).
You will have:
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Completion of NSW Record of School Achievement (RoSA)
- Actively contribute as part of a team and communicate clearly, to establish common goals.
The salary range for this opportunity commences at $34,522 (T3 at 17 years of age) - $40,357 (T4 at 18 years or completed HSC) + 11% super.
