AddressLa’Hair Lounge is seeking a fulltime and part-time, 2nd and/OR 3RD Year Apprentice Hairdresser . Applicants must be able to fulfil the following roles:
- Consulting thoroughly with clients in a professional matter
- Creating hair styles for all hair types
- Maintaining an appointment calendar through scheduling
- Demonstrating and selling professional products
- Learning and perfecting new styles and techniques
- Maintaining and updating client records
- Performing/Training in professional hair cutting services to all men, women and children
- Maintaining work stations and sanitizing tools and equipment
- Using curlers, rollers, hot irons, and curling irons
- Performing/Training in applying hair colour, dye, and tints
- Administering scalp and hair treatments
- Performing scalp and neck massages
- Meet quality standards for service
- Be able to work under pressure
- Be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be patient
- Pay attention to small details
- Be able to follow instructions
- Keep up with the latest beauty trends and be willing to constantly expand your skills and techniques
- Earn the trust of their clients
- Closely follow safety, sanitation, and health standards.
Only applicants in their 2nd year or higher will be considered for this postion. Superannuation, leave loading and commissions for fulltime employees.
