Located in Kewdale, our client specializes in the procurement, maintenance, distribution, and appraisal of construction, mining, and agricultural machinery and equipment, including both new and used items as well as spare parts. They have an extensive range of services includes technical support, servicing, and assistance with parts, both on-site and in-house. The fully equipped mobile workshops have been designed to operate independently, enhancing the efficiency of on-site services division and reducing downtime for customers.
Our client takes great pride in continuous training within the Apprenticeship Program, safety training, and technical training, consistently producing highly skilled tradespeople who excel in the industry.
Presently, they are looking for an Apprentice Heavy Diesel Mechanic to become a part of their team. The role is notably varied, involving the operation of lathes and mills, fitting gearboxes, and handling equipment such as excavators and telehandlers, both in a workshop setting and during on-site visits.
We are seeking applications from candidates who are -
- Mechanically minded and able to use a range of tools, machinery and equipment
- Possess the drive and determination to complete a nationally recognised qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Committed to safety
- Keen to learn
- Accurate, with good attention to detail
- A good communicator and team player
- Sound Mathematical aptitude
- Ideally recently completed pre-vocational training or experience relevant to this trade
- Drivers license
