Resolve Recruit is partnering with a Commonwealth department in their search for a talented User Experience Designer to join their team. This is your opportunity to elevate a whole-of-government platform and ensure that every interaction for its users is seamless and user friendly.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Dive deep into user needs, behaviors, and challenges alongside user researchers and Product Managers.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to align design solutions with strategic goals and business requirements.
- Create and prototype innovative solutions with a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment.
- Iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback and usability testing, ensuring readiness for development.
- Ensure all designs prioritise accessibility and adhere to user-centered design principles and standards.
- Work hand-in-hand with developers to translate designs into detailed interaction specifications.
- Maintain a holistic view of the User Experience, ensuring consistency and coherence across the platform.
- Uphold internal design systems for long-term consistency and scalability.
- The ability to create and iterate intuitive and engaging User Experiences.
- Experience working effectively within a team environment, engaging with user researchers, developers, a product manager, and stakeholders to design business solutions.
- A deep understanding of design tools is essential (for example Figma and Miro).
