AddressEmbark on a rewarding learning journey as an Apprentice Horticulture at prestigious locations such as Private Schools, Universities, Parks and gardens etc. Alongside your practical duties in maintaining green spaces, you'll also attend weekly classroom learning sessions.
This four-year apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for career advancement. At the end of the program, you'll be trade-qualified as a Horticulturalist. You will progress to take on roles as a Team Leader or Site Manager, ready to lead with confidence.
Responsibilities- Care for plants, trees, and green areas.
- Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as pruning and weeding.
- Learn to identify and treat pests, diseases, and weeds.
- Safely handle chemicals and operate horticultural equipment.
- Support the team and learn from experienced horticulturists.
- Receive above Award rates and access to training.
- Get a $150 safety boot voucher after 3 months.
- Work with new machinery and receive annual salary reviews.
- Engage in social events and thrive in a supportive team.
- No prior experience required
- Valid Drivers' licence
- Valid Working With Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain one)
- Valid White Card (or be willing to obtain one)
