Job Description:
Adelaide Steel Frame Windows is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Metal Fabricator. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and encouraging environment. This is a full-time position, offering the chance to grow and develop your career with a leading player in the steel fabrication industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of custom steel frame doors and windows.
- Learn to read and interpret drawings, and specifications.
- Operate various fabrication tools and machinery.
- Assist with measuring, cutting, shaping, and welding metal components.
- Collaborate with experienced fabricators to ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Passion and enthusiasm for learning new skills and the metal fabrication industry.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement techniques.
