We, at COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS are seeking a candidate that is committed to completing  a 3-year Nursery apprenticeship for our reputed host client  recognised for their commercial landscaping, revegetation and design across a number of sectors including government, commercial, housing and private businesses.

This  qualification is suited to anyone who loves working behind the scenes with a genuine interest in nursery and has a white construction card (or prepared to arrange) before commencement and drivers license.

Your developing skills will include :

Handling shrubs, vegetables, flowers, trees, soil, fertilisers, soil, stones, stocktaking, plant maintenance, sales, installing irrigation systems, machinery operation and soil testing. 

Requirements :                                                                                  

• Understand the importance of workplace health and safety
• Physically fit
• Capable of working in torrid conditions 
• Construction White Card
• Manual Driver’s licence                                                
• Successful applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.

Hours :  Monday to Friday, 38 hour hours a week, early starts, early finishes.

Who We Are?

Community Solutions is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland. We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn. Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
