The Opportunity -
Novaskill is currently partnered with a range of local businesses who are offering multiple Painting Apprenticeships opportunities including on-the-job training with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true potential.
We're looking for those looking to start their apprenticeship, and even 2nd or 3rd Years looking to continue their learning in a new environment!
You'll be completing a Certificate III in Decorating and Painting whilst gaining exposure and developing relationships in the industry.
Learnings –
- Prepare different surfaces for painting
- Apply paint using various tools and equipment
- Apply decorative wallpaper
- Create textured surfaces
- Communicate with clients to achieve their vision
Outcomes –
- Experience working on residential and commercial interiors
- A sound understanding of work health and safety in the construction industry
- Eligibility to apply for a painting trade licence
- Strong pathways to continue your studies and enhance your career opportunities
Apprenticeship Suitability Recommendations –
- The ability to work independently and in a team
- An intermediate level of fitness to manage physical demands
- Comfort working at heights
