An exciting opportunity to join the team at DJ Blackburn Plumbing and Gas as an Apprentice Plumber! ABOUT THE BUSINESS Established in 1996, DJ Blackburn Plumbing and Gas has over 25 years’ experience in an array of domestic, commercial, industrial and hydraulic plumbing services. They are proficient in all types of plumbing, for all types of projects, small to large.

They have a strong team with an organisational structure that include licensed tradesman and apprentices.  Their people are their most valuable resource, and they provide all staff with ongoing training to keep them up to date with all current standards, procedures and workplace practices. ABOUT THE ROLE

They are seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to join their team. Ideally, they are seeking someone who is not only looking to undertake an apprenticeship- but is also wanting to continue working with us once qualified. This opportunity is open to those who are looking to start their plumbing apprenticeship and have completed their pre-apprenticeship, and to those in either their second or third year and looking to re-commence.

We will look at 1st year apprentice that has the drive and passion to commence this growing trade profession. They undertake a variety of different projects that has them working across WA as well as the Perth region so the role will have you spending time away from home on occasion. Due to the different clients, they have you will also need to obtain a National Police Clearance and a

Working with Children check. You will also need to be fully vaccinated as they do work in hospitals. This is a full-time apprenticeship.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE To be successful in this role, you will: Have a genuine interest in the industry with a strong willingness to learn. Be punctual, reliable, and hard-working.

Possess a strong ability to work in a team environment. Have the flexibility to work away from home. Be able to provide a National Police Clearance

Have (or be willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check and a White Card Possess a pre-apprenticeship in Plumbing (Certificate II in Plumbing) (for those yet to commence a plumbing apprenticeship) Hold a current manual Driver’s License (highly desirable) Be fully vaccinated (due to work in hospitals) If this sounds like you, APPLY NOW!
