AddressDue to growth and opportunity in our Learning & Development space, WesTrac is looking for a Apprentice Trainer (Pre-Trade Trainer) to join our team at The Institute, located in South Guildford, WA.
Reporting to the Pre-Trade Supervisor, this hands-on role is responsible for developing, delivering and assessing apprentice training in accordance with required standards and WesTrac's Core Values. You will be providing high levels of customer service for both internal and external clients, managing the administrative functions of training, assessing and reporting whilst maintaining compliance in line with RTO (50737) requirements.
It is essential that you hold a qualification in the scope of either Auto-Electrical, Mobile Plant or Heavy Vehicle.
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 is desirable and will be highly regarded, however is not essential as WesTrac can support you in achieving this.
Roster: This role is open to full-time, part-time and casual candidates.
About you:
- Trade qualification in either Heavy Vehicle, Mobile Plant or Auto-Electrical Technologies
- Experienced technician who is ready to move on to a mentoring Trainer role
- Passion for learning and committed to developing individuals to realize their potential.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
- Basic Microsoft Suite skills
- Caterpillar equipment exposure and knowledge desirable
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 will be highly regarded
