Frontier Voice & Data would like to offer the opportunity of a full-time position within our company, undertaking an Apprenticeship – Certificate IIIin Data & Voice Communications.
The successful applicant will learn how to select, install, test, fault find, repair, and maintain telecommunications and high-performance data services. Our qualified team will support and guide the applicant in a fast-moving environment whilst helping to guide them through all the requirements of the role. Applicants will have the opportunity to work towards additional qualifications and licenses.
Responsibilities:
- Installing of telecommunication components, routers, internet technology devices, av equipment and cameras, whilst supervised.
- Learning to examine drawings, specifications, and work areas to determine positioning and connections for equipment to be installed.
- Installing of cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct using hand power tools
- Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations and performing maintenance on existing cabling systems.
- Comply with all relevant legislation, including and not limited to, Occupational Health and Safety, Equal Opportunity, Harassment, Bullying, Trade Practices Act and Privacy Act.
- Interact and participate in activities with the both the Service & Sales team.
- Promotes, maintains, and communicates a positive relationship within the team and throughout the company.
Requirements:
- Ability to work at heights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work in a high-paced environment.
- Valid Australian Driver's License
