APS 5 Departmental Officer

Baseline Cleared candidates with APS experience, preferably with Project Support, Budget Coordination and Admin experience.
Our client is seeking a Baseline Cleared candidate with APS experience, preferably with Project Support, Budget Coordination and Admin experience.
This role is full time, with a hybrid work force.
Key Responsibilities:
The role will be responsible for a range of tasks including some of the following:

• supporting the management of planning, organising and coordination of key activities
• preparing documents for executive and consideration including agenda papers, reports, presentations and submissions
• providing representation at both internal and external forums
• monitoring inboxes and maintaining a New Policy Proposal tracker (required minimum of Baseline security clearance)
• undertaking research to support the development of briefings

Key Capabilities:
The role is required to have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong coordination and liaison skills. Other capabilities include but are not limited to:

• excellent organisational, problem-solving, planning and time management capabilities, including capacity to manage multiple competing priorities'
• ability to work within a dynamic team environment to meet pressured deadlines and ensure delivery against objectives
• analytical and conceptual thinking, complemented by strong oral and written communication
• demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote, develop and manage internal and external relationships
• stakeholder engagement and community development to support program and/or project implementation
