A new role awaits

We have exciting new opportunity to join the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) as an APS6 Continuous Improvement and Project Support within the National Contact Centre Branch (NCC).

The NCC Branch is responsible for implementing and enhancing service delivery for participants and providers of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Serving as the primary communication channel for individuals to connect with NDIA, the Contact Centre addresses inquiries from participants, prospective participants, providers, organisations, and the general public.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management, and decision-making for the team members in the work area, you will have the authority and responsibility to address and resolve issues and risks across a range of activities

Additionally, the role may involve coordinating and assisting in strategic planning, program and Project management, and policy development to align with the NDIA's objective of establishing a world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme.

To be successful in this role we are looking for candidates that can demonstrate:

  • Collaborating with team members, achieving program, project and business outcomes.
  • Maintaining appropriate governance and compliance through corporate governance, compliance, audit and risk management processes.
  • Coordinating regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
  • Developing business functional requirements and resources, consistent with contractual, legislative and policy environments.
  • Designing and delivering workshops, communication and consultation resources that support complex systems and business information gathering and sharing.

While this role is ideally performed from VIC - Geelong, VIC - Richmond, VIC - Dandenong, QLD Robina, ACT - Deakin, remote working arrangements may be considered. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 18 months may be offered.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
