Our client, a federal government agency is looking to recruit an APS 6 Medical Device IVD Reviewer who are specialised in sequence alignment and antigen / protein modelling in IVD to assist with post-market reviews of emerging IVDs.
  
As an APS 6 Medical Device IVD Reviewer, you will be coordinating reviews and undertaking assessments of submissions in relation to the post-market reviews.
  
Your other responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to:

• Assessing technical documentation and data
• Implementing risk management approach to support regulatory decisions
• Developing / reviewing technical and administrative procedures
• Providing inputs and advice to policy development

This is a great opportunity for a technical Medical Device professional to set foot and develop skills and knowledge in the public sector by utilising their highly specialised expertise.
  
To be considered for this role, you will be an Australian citizen and have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering or other relevant health science degrees
• Strong experience in sequence alignment and antigen / protein modelling in IVD and device technology
• Technical experience in use, assessment, manufacture, design, testing and monitoring of Medical Devices
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• High level of internal and external stakeholder interaction skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
