APS4 Planner

Rate: $43.82/Hourly

Contract: Ongoing Contract

Hours: Full time, 8:30am – 5pm, Mon - Fri

Location: Charlestown

Your new company 

You will be working with a community-based government organisation that provides essential services to the community, focusing on supporting those in need and making a difference for each of their participants. We are looking for motivated individuals who are driven to provide excellent service and positive solutions for program participants. This role is based in Charlestown and offers flexible working arrangements post training. 

Your new role 

As a Planner, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to your team and participants. Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Gathering information from participants to enable evidence-based decision-making. 
  • Responding to phone and email enquiries relating to participant plans. 
  • Work with participants and their representatives to identify areas where support can be provided.
  • Make funding decisions in accordance with policies and legislation.
  • Completing administrative and data entry tasks.
  • Work with set KPIs to achieve targets.

What you'll need to succeed 

  • Previous experience in an administration or customer service role is essential.
  • Experience working in the Disability Sector, such as in Participant Support or Case Management, would be highly desirable.
  • Driven to provide excellent service, and abililty to develop positive relationships with stakeholders. 
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed time management, analytical, and decision-making ability.
  • High level of computer literacy, including competency using Microsoft Office suite and confidence to work in a hybrid/virtual environment.
  • High level attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The successful candidate will be required to complete 2 reference checks and a background check prior to commencing in the role.
