Duties and responsibilities:- Remediating a range of privacy complaints and incidents in a timely manner.
- Ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Undertaking projects on an ad-hoc basis.
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the implementation of new systems, processes and practical tools within the Privacy team.
- Building capability and expertise within the team, sharing knowledge and awareness across the organisation and working in accordance with the highest professional and ethical standards.
Your profile will demonstrate:
- Experience in a similar role - i.e. Privacy Officer, Freedom of Information, GIPA, etc.
- Desirable - knowledge of the Privacy Act 1988.
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills.
- Australian citizenship (mandatory).
