The Opportunity
As the APS4/5 Recruitment/Onboarding Officer, you will be an integral part of a high-performing team, contributing to the end-to-end recruitment processes and ensuring seamless onboarding experiences for new team members. The Role
As the APS4/5 Recruitment/Onboarding Officer, your role includes a variety of duties essential to the effective functioning of the recruitment process and the onboarding experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide timely and accurate advice on recruitment and selection activities within the framework of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Process end-to-end recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, actioning recruitment requests, processing selection outcomes
- Use eRecruit Asecendre system, to manage and track recruitment processes and candidate onboarding
- Manage onboarding processes to achieve timely commencements with accuracy while complying with legislation
- maintaining and applying knowledge of relevant legislation not limited to, the Public Service Act 1999, the Fair Work Act 2009, the Department’s Enterprise Agreement, and their subordinate legislation
To be successful in this role you will have strong self-motivation and an aptitude for quick learning. Your valuable contributions will include a keen eye for detail, excellent administrative and organisational skills, and a proven track record in recruitment, particularly within the intricacies of APS processes and onboarding, which will be highly valued. You enjoy managing multiple priorities and have experience in eRecruit.

Salary / Rate
- $75k - $87k + 15.4% Super
- 6-month non-ongoing with potential options to extend
