The Role:
As a Project Support Officer, your key responsibility is to perform, coordinate, and provide support for a range of moderately to complex project activities and administration. Operating under limited direction, you serve as a vital link within the Division, offering direct support to the project team. Your role involves active consultation and stakeholder engagement to ensure the timely and accurate achievement of Division outcomes.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Perform, coordinate, and provide support for a range of moderately complex to complex project activities and administration.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up on outstanding actions.
- Monitor the portfolio, assist in project plan and budget management, applying effective project management tools.
- Provide direct support to the project team, contributing to the timely and accurate achievement of Division outcomes.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Support Officer within large organizations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to engage with numerous stakeholders using various methods, including workshop facilitation.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Project, Visio, and Microsoft Teams.
To be eligible it is essential that applicants hold Australian Citizenship and have the ability to obtain Baseline.
