The Roles:
We are working with a range of key stakeholders in budgets branches to help source APS5/6/EL1 candidates for their external budgeting teams. Roles have become available in the teams through a combination of promotion and natural attrition. We have a range of clients looking to hire in this space, from large, complex departments, to smaller, more bespoke agencies.
External Budgets:
Your Skills and Experience:
You must be an Australian Citizen, with a minimum baseline security clearance (higher level clearances very useful) and have experience of working within an External Budgets or internal budgets area previously in the Australian Federal Government. You must be able to demonstrate competency with CBMS or TM1 and the ability to write briefs and reports that might go up to the SES level.
As well as technical accounting skills you are a strong communicator, you liaise comfortably with senior staff and can provide insight, guidance and expertise when needed.
