AddressThe Stella Bella Children's Centre is a small and unique centre in Fyshwick, Canberra, that offers a mainstream childcare unit for long day care and a separate special care unit for young children who have chronic medical conditions. Stella Bella Children's Centre is owned by the well-respected local children's charity, Stella Bella Foundation. We have a wonderful group of educators and children in our centre and have lovely indoor and outdoor spaces to play, grow and learn in.
We are looking for some trainees and Assistant Educators to join our stellar team. We are offering the successful candidates:

If you would like to join our team, you will need the following:
- A passion for providing meaningful and nourishing early childhood experiences for children, regardless of any special care requirements they may have.
- A kind heart and a friendly disposition.
- You must be working towards or willing to start a traineeship to obtain your Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- A willingness to learn about and apply the Stella Bella care and learning philosophies in your daily practice
- A healthy respect for a cohesive team culture, lots of initiative, energy, an open mind and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of care and learning for the children in our care, and care for our centre.
- An excellent work ethic
- An interest in sustainability and the natural environment.
- Current first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications or willingness to obtain at the start of your employment
- Current WWVP card
- A strong commitment to the National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework.
- Flexibility to work across the different shifts required to cover our opening hours
