Our client is seeking to engage an APS6 Rehabilitation/Performance Case Manager.
Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Length: 6 months, with 2X12 months extension option
Eligibility/Security Requirement: Applicants must be Australian Citizens
Services will include:
- Promoting early intervention and rehabilitation processes to managers and employees to ensure early identification of injured or ill employees.
- Coordination and ongoing management of non-compensation and compensation rehabilitation matters and escalation to the Assistant Director as required.
- Maintaining case notes using electronic records and electronic filing systems.
- Providing regular case updates to supervisors and provide updates to Assistant Director as required.
- Actively contributing and complying with Agency's Rehabilitation Management Systems (RMS) and procedures.
- Providing advice to managers, supervisors, and employees in relation to rehabilitation and return to work activities including medical reviews, independent medical assessments, and other complex HR matters.
- Ensuring documented procedures and policies are adhered to and that workplace rehabilitation providers are managed in accordance with the Occupational Rehabilitation & Associated Medical Service standards.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement for injury and rehabilitation management processes and strategies and provide high-level service delivery.
- Manage workload by strategically prioritising tasks based on level of risk and commitments made/requirements.
- Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Work with limited supervision under direction of the Assistant Director, Case Management.
Provide high quality Rehabilitation/Performance Case management to employees in line with relevant policies, procedures and legislation. Cases include:
- Early intervention, Non-Compensation and Compensation
- Injury prevention and duty of care matters
- Reasonable adjustments to assist staff with unique needs to flourish
- Performance and behavioural matters
- Attendance
- Complaints
- Code of conduct matters
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Manage workload by strategically prioritising tasks based on level of risk, commitments made and requirements.
- Work with limited supervision under direction of the Assistant Director, Case Management.
