Our client is seeking to engage an APS6 Case Manager.
Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Length: Start – ASAP, End – 29/02/2025
Hours: Part-time (22.5 hours per week) – Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
Eligibility Requirements:
- A National Police Certificate (obtained within the last 6 months) will be required for the successful candidate.
- Australian Citizenship is essential
Specific duties include:
- Applying technical knowledge to manage the prescription medicines registration process from the application acceptance stage to the final decision phase
- Proactively managing external stakeholders’ expectations throughout the duration of the review process
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to anticipate problems and developing options to solve complex issues encountered during the prescription medicines registration process
- Contributing to strategic objectives and operational planning activities for prescription medicines evaluation, as well as contributing to business improvement activities
- Maintaining flexibility in contributing to team goals and broader organizational objectives by undertaking other tasks as required and directed
Mandatory Abilities:
Candidates must be able to demonstrate -
- Ability to develop productive working relationships to achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills that contribute to effective internal and external stakeholder management
- High level planning and coordination skills to deliver objectives
- Ability to make balanced decisions using professional judgement, factoring in risks and being sensitive to context.
Desirable:
- A degree in a relevant scientific field such as pharmacy, chemistry, biochemistry, toxicology or biological sciences, from an Australian tertiary institution or comparable overseas qualification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organization
- Experience in, or the ability to understand, the regulation of therapeutic goods in Australia
